The Duke of Sussex goes solo to meet injured Rugby players

Prince Harry stepped out for a solo engagement just a day after he and wife Meghan Markle attended the launch of the Nelson Mandela exhibit in London.

This time, The Duke of Sussex attended The England Rugby Charity's annual Client Forum day, chatting to injured players and their families.

The Duke was certainly the Prince of Hearts, as he fist pumped with players, shared a fair few laughs and some games.

A patron of the charity since 2010, Harry was at Twickenham Stadium to talk to former athletes from all levels of the game, whose lives were turned upside down by 'catastrophic injury' on the field.

On the day, the charity's clients are invited to take part in some archery, tennis and boccia but it seems Prince Harry couldn't help himself and got involved too.

Picking up the bow and arrow, the 33-year-old reportedly joked about which photographer's camera he should aim it at, before attempting to hit the bulls-eye in front of him.

But judging by his reaction after releasing the arrow, he was a way off from the target.

The missed shot didn't stop him from having plenty of laughs while there though and Harry looked particularly delighted while playing a little boccia with wheelchair-bound athletes.

The Duke was also seen trying on a diving glove as he met scuba instructors who were set to teach diving to some of the charity's members.

RFU Injured Players Foundation (IPF) provides assistance to any player and their families, from grassroots up to professional level and aims to empower them to lead their lives as fully and independently as they are able to.

The Client Forum is designed to enable injured players and their families to learn about the IPF's support programmes, its research and try out some of the activities as part of the IPF Engage programme.
