Prince Harry announces visit to The Netherlands for Invictus Games launch

Prince Harry will head to The Netherlands to launch next year's Invictus Games in early May.

However, the overnight visit has royal watchers convinced the announcement from Buckingham Palace also doubles as a clue to Baby Sussex's arrival.

While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are keeping tight-lipped about the Royal Baby's birth, it's understood to be some-time this week, with The Duke of Sussex heading to The Hague on next week.

"The Duke of Sussex will visit The Netherlands on Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th May 2019.

"While in The Netherlands, The Duke will undertake an official engagement in Amsterdam.

"His Royal Highness will then travel to The Hague to officially launch the one year countdown to the Invictus Games The Hague 2020."

While the announcement has fans in a flurry over the imminent arrival of Baby Sussex, Hello! magazine's royal commentator Emily Nash, indicated Prince Harry may still cancel the trip if need be.

"It seems Harry is very keen to honour a commitment he made to officially launch the one year countdown for Invictus 2020 and will go if he can - it's been in the diary for a long time apparently!" Ms Nash tweeted.

According to ITV royal reporter Chris Ship, The Duchess of Sussex's due date was last Friday, adding the couple will be parents "definitely any day now."

While there have been plenty of reports and rumours about where Meghan has chosen to give birth the Mr Ship revealed a home birth is still very likely.

"We don’t know if she is gonna have it at home, we think she’s gonna try to but we’re not sure whether she is," he revealed.

"If she’s going to hospital then they’re not gonna tell us which hospital it’s at, and they’re gonna try to get her into hospital and back out before they’ve informed us where that location is."

Either way, Royal Baby watch continues...but if this announcement is anything to go by, Baby Sussex will be here by this time next week.
