Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will embark on another overseas trip later this year.

Months after their Nigeria trip, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will visit Colombia next.

In a recent statement, Colombian Vice President and Minister of Equality and Equity, Francia Marquez confirmed the royals accepted her invitation to visit.

Since they are not working royals, Harry and Meghan's trip will not be an official royal tour but rather a four-day visit to "experience the rich heritage" of Colombia.

The royals will join Marquez in the Colombian capital Bogotá, Cartagena and Cali.

The Vice President said the royals will "engage with leaders, youth, and women who embody the aspirations and voices of Colombians committed to progress" on their trip.

The Duke and Duchess' Colombia trip will take place ahead of the Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children in November.

In her statement, Marquez brought up Harry and Meghan's Archewell Foundation which aligns to the conference with the work in creating online safe spaces.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex launched Archewell in 2021, which includes the Foundation, Productions and Audio tiers.

The trip will see the royals participate in activities with a focus on mental health impacts.

"We are confident that their visit will further illuminate Colombia's role as a beacon of culture and innovation," Marquez said.

Harry and Meghan recently sat down with CBS Sunday Morning in an upcoming interview to discuss their new social media initiative.

A first look from the interview saw the royals, who are also parents of two young children, address there is "a lot of work to be done in the online space" to make it safe.

The Colombia trip comes just shy of three months since the pair visited Nigeria in May.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent three days in Nigeria on an unofficial tour.

The trip focused on championing mental health for young people affected by conflicts, and marked the first time the pair had visited Nigeria.
