Harry and Meghan lose yet another staffer, their 11th publicist since leaving royal family
Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, are losing yet another staffer from their team amid a round of staff cuts from their charity Archewell.
The couple's chief publicist Meredith Maines is stepping down from her role after one year.
She began the role of Chief Communications Officer (CCO) in January this year, working in conjunction with US-based PR firm Method Communications on the publicity for the 41-year-old and 43-year-old.

"After a year of inspiring work with Prince Harry and Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Archewell, I will be pursuing a new opportunity in 2026," Maines said in a statement to Us Magazine.
"I have the utmost gratitude and respect for the couple and the team, and the good work they are doing in the world."
The Duke and Duchess have also cut ties with Method Communications.
"Meredith Maines and Method Communications have concluded their work with Archewell. The Duke and Duchess are grateful for their contributions and wish them well," a spokesman for the couple told the outlet.

It comes soon after the couple were forced to release a statement when they made staff cuts as they restructure their charity, Archewell Foundation.
The parents of two have said staff cuts are "inevitable".
Three people have reportedly been let go already as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex rename and restructure their charity to Archewell Philanthropies.
A spokesperson for the charity said staff cuts are unavoidable as they move to broaden the foundation.

"The move toward a fiscal sponsor operating model does mean that some staff redundancies are inevitable, particularly with junior admin roles," a statement provided to People Magazine said.
"We will not be discussing these personnel details further, other than to say that we are honoured to have worked with incredibly talented and caring people who dedicate themselves to helping others."
A statement on the charity's website says the restructure will allow Prince Harry and Meghan to "broaden their global philanthropic efforts for meaningful reach and maximum impact."
"After five beautiful years, the Archewell Foundation is becoming Archewell Philanthropies," it said.
"This charitable entity allows the couple and their children to expand upon their global philanthropic endeavours as a family."
