Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have released an intimate video showing the highlights of their royal tour through Africa as their time there has come to an end.
Posting the short compilation video to their Instagram page, @Sussexroyal, the couple shared some more personal and behind-the-scenes moments with their 9.6 million followers on the social media platform.

"The Royal Tour to Southern Africa has come to an end, but The Duke and Duchess have had the opportunity to look back on an incredible 10 days through South Africa, Botswana, Angola and Malawi," began the video's lengthy caption.
"Their Royal Highness's journey took them 15,000 miles across southern Africa where they we're greeted by so many amazing people along the way. They witnessed the great partnership between the UK and Africa, met local community groups, leaders, and youth and elders, who all imparted knowledge and inspiration."
It went on to detail many of the couple's humanitarian and charity engagements during the trip, as well as highlighting Harry's work in Angola, which was a continuation of the late Princess Diana's efforts there more than 20 years ago.

During their trip Meghan also took on several solo engagements, prioritising many women's causes and charities, something she has been vocally passionate about since before she joined the royal family.
"Throughout this visit, The Duke and Duchess were struck by the spirit and generosity from every community they visited," the caption added.
"Please know that you have all given us so much inspiration, so much hope - and above all, you have given us joy," Meghan said on the final day of their tour, according to the caption.

In just 24 hours the video has been viewed almost 2 million times, with that number set to rise as royal fans flock to the post for an inside look at the couple's time in Africa.
The comments section is already brimming with praise and congratulations for the couple, as this was their first royal tour since welcoming their son Archie, who they brought along for the trip.
In fact, the five-month-old royal played a major role in the planning of the Sussexes tour, as Meghan revealed that many of their engagements had to be scheduled around the bub's feeding times.

But the end of their trip has been somewhat overshadowed by the couple's shock move to sue several British tabloids over negative and untruthful reports, as well as a phone hacking scandal.
