Prince Harry saves Meghan from stumbling at a family wedding

Almost exactly one month on from their own nuptials, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have attended the wedding of a family member.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived hand-in-hand at the wedding of Celia McCorquodale, Harry's cousin and a niece of the late Princess Diana, on Saturday.

Meghan, 36, wore a long-sleeved blue and white wrap dress by Oscar de la Renta, teamed with a white fascinator, while her husband was in a three-piece suit.

The couple looked cheerful and relaxed as they greeted family members.

At one point, the Duchess avoided what would have been a slightly disastrous moment.

Thankfully, Harry's firm grip on her hand allowed the former actress to steady herself - saving her $5765 dress from being ruined with grass stains in the process. What a prince, indeed.

Suffice to say, McCourquodale's wedding was a markedly different event to the couple's own nuptials at Windsor Castle on May 19.

The bride, whose mother is Lady Sarah McCorquodale, said 'I do' to George Woodhouse at a small church in Lincolnshire, England.

However, the day did have a special royal touch.

In a tribute to her late aunty, McCourquodale wore the Spencer Tiara - a family heirloom the Princess of Wales wore for her own wedding to Prince Charles in 1981.

It has been worn by each of the Princess of Wales' sisters, as well as their brother's wife, on their respective wedding days.
