Elizabeth Hurley responds to rumours she is the 'older woman' who took Prince Harry's virginity
Elizabeth Hurley has responded to the rumours she was the "older" woman who took Prince Harry's virginity in 2001.
In his bestselling memoir Spare, released in 2023, the Duke of Sussex recalled an encounter which he says happened "in a grassy field behind a busy pub" when he was 17.
Prince Harry described his first sexual encounter as an "inglorious episode."

"She liked horses, quite a lot, and treated me not unlike a young stallion," Harry described of the woman.
"Quick ride, after which she'd smacked my rump and sent me off to graze. Among the many things about it that were wrong: It happened in a grassy field behind a busy pub."
Hurley, 58, addressed rumours she was the older woman in question during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen, denying it had anything to do with her.

"That was ludicrous!" Hurley said.
"He said, 'She was English. She was older than me. It was in Gloucestershire.' And they were like, 'Ah, it's Elizabeth.'
"It was absurd. It was ridiculous."
Hurley said she'd never met Prince Harry, although she had rubbed shoulders with British royals at various events including King Charles, Prince Andrew and Prince William.

In fact she says she's still never met Harry.
In 2001, Hurley had recently split with Hugh Grant whom she'd met in 1987. She would go on to become a mum as a result of her next public relationship with movie producer Steve Bing, welcoming son Damian in 2002.

The pair split before the birth of their child.
Prince Harry's longest serious relationship before his marriage to Meghan Markle was with Chelsy Davy, whom he dated from 2004 until 2011, and then Cressida Bonas from 2012 until 2014.
