Prince Harry announces tour abroad that'll clash with Prince William's schedule
Prince Harry will visit Canada later this week for a series of events at the same time as his estranged brother Prince William will be hosting his landmark environmental prize in Brazil.
The diary clash was unintentional and had been in the planning for months, a spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex said.
Prince William arrived in Rio de Janeiro on Monday for three days of engagements, culminating in his Earthshot Prize awards ceremony on Wednesday. His wife, the Princess of Wales, has remained in the UK following their move into Forest Lodge – their new home – and to oversee their children's return to school.

It is the fifth installation of the Prince of Wales' climate awards, which aim to find solutions to the world's biggest problems.
The prince is making his first official visit to South America and it comes just days after his uncle Andrew Mountbatten Windsor was stripped of all his remaining royal titles, including that of prince, booted from the Royal Lodge and erased from the royal family's official website.
On Thursday, William will travel on to the Cop30 global climate change summit in Belem in the Amazon. He'll attend the event on behalf of King Charles on November 6.
Prince Harry will soon arrive in Canada for events in Toronto connected with the armed forces.

A spokesperson for the duke said: "This week, during the annual period of Remembrancetide, Prince Harry Will travel to Toronto, Canada.
"There, he will meet with veterans, members of the armed forces community and military charities.
"This visit, months in the planning, marks a return to a city that has a special place in the Duke's heart, having played host to the Invictus Games back in 2017."
Remembrancetide takes place in the weeks leading up to Armistice day and Remembrance Sunday.

The announcement of Prince Harry's visit to Canada came as Prince William arrived in Rio.
A source said the timing of Harry's announcement was unavoidable and was due to his lack of state-funded security, which he and wife Meghan lost when they stepped back as senior working royals in 2020.
The source said because Prince Harry does not have the same level of protection as working royals, the timeframe for publicising his engagements is smaller.
Announcements are made in line with guidance from his private security team and those connected to the individual events.
A spokesman for the Sussexes' confirmed they had informed royal commutations "as a courtesy".
But there is said to be no open dialogue between the Sussexes' office and Kensington Palace.
On Wednesday Prince Harry will attend a private fundraising dinner on behalf of the Halo Trust, the landmine-clearing charity supported by the late Diana, Princess of Wales.
The following day Harry will visit one of the largest veteran care facilities in Canada.
Later that evening, he'll attend the 17th annual True Patriot Love national tribute dinner.
The duke was once a firm fixture at Remembrance events, including Remembrance Sunday – the most solemn day on the British royal calendar. But he and Meghan's last appearance at the commemorations in the UK was in 2019.

When he and Meghan left their places as senior working royals, one of the consequences was the removal of his military patronages and titles.
In 2020, months later his official departure from the UK, Prince Harry was refused his wish to have a poppy wreath placed at the Cenotaph in London on Remembrance Sunday, on his behalf.
Prince Harry served 10 years in the British Armed Forces and did two tours of duty in Afghanistan.
He later created the Invictus Games to help wounded servicemen and women forge a new passion away from the military by using the healing power of sport.
