Prince George expected to follow in dad's footsteps after being spotted at elite school

Prince George looks set to attend Eton College, his father's alma mater, after visiting the elite school with the Prince and Princess of Wales on Wednesday.

George, nine, was spotted at Eton – the revered school attended by both his father Prince William and uncle Prince Harry – with his parents.

Hello! reports George was seen standing with William and Catherine near an archway by a sign that read 'Porters' Lodge.'

Eton College is located in Windsor, where the Prince and Princess of Wales relocated to in 2022.

The family had been residing at Kensington Palace in London, however made the choice to leave the city, taking up residence in Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, seemingly in preparation for George to attend high school.

Prince George was spotted on the grounds of Eton wearing navy shorts, a short-sleeve shirt and black shoes, according to Hello!

Prince William reportedly wore a blue jacket and navy trousers, while Princess Catherine chose an aquamarine dress with ballet flats.

The family were seen chatting with two Eton staffers.

Prince George was also spotted singing the official book students must sign when attending.

Students have to be 13 to attend Eton, however, the enrollment process begins early.

Prince George celebrates his 10th birthday on July 22 and is likely to begin at the school in 2026.

George currently attends Lambrook School in Berkshire with his sister Princess Charlotte and brother Prince Louis.

As second in line to the British throne, Prince George has been taking on more responsibilities, including at his grandfather King Charles' coronation on May 6 where he acted as page.
