Prince George's birthday party details have been revealed

Prince George recently celebrated his sixth birthday on July 22 and it's been revealed the young royal enjoyed a party with his school friends to mark the occasion.

HELLO! has exclusively revealed that the little prince’s whole class was invited to the party at Kensington Palace ahead of his special day and it was football-themed.

Two of the official photos of Prince George released for his birthday – taken by his mum, Kate – showed him wearing an England football team shirt.

Following the party, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge jetted off for a summer holiday with their three children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte, four, and Prince Louis, one.

The Cambridges are currently in Mustique for two weeks which is where they celebrated George's actual birthday on July 22. The took the same holiday last year.

William and Kate first visited Mustique in 2008 and have returned each year ever since, sometimes with the Middleton family.

The exclusive island offers the royals complete privacy, although they are known to blend in with locals.

During previous trips William and Kate have been spotted paying tennis, snorkelling and scuba diving.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expected to return to royal duties in September, although they will attend The King's Cup regatta sailing event on Friday 9 August.

The event will support charitable causes including four of William's patronages and four of Kate's.
