Following the service, the Prince and Princess attended events in the courtyard, appearing in a balcony of the Royal Palace with their children, the proud parents waving to the crowd.
The twins did seem to struggle during their courtyard appearance, with Prince Albert at one stage playfully shushing them and both parents appearing to encourage them to wave to the crowd.
Princess Caroline's son Pierre Casiraghi and his wife, Beatrice Borromeo, and their children, Stefano Casiraghi and Francesco Casiraghi, also took to the balcony.
