Piers Morgan unleashes on Meghan Markle, again

Piers Morgan has hit out at Meghan Markle again, this time accusing her of acting her way through her role as Duchess of Sussex.

On Tuesday's Good Morning Britain TV show, the UK journalist and presenter said his experience having met Meghan, 37, was "not great".

At the time, she was an actress in popular US TV series Suits.

"I knew her for about a year and a half, and got on really well with her," Morgan, 53, explained during Tuesday’s episode of Good Morning Britain.

"Then bang, she met somebody more important, immediately ghosted.

"I never heard from her again."

Meghan began dating Prince Harry in mid-2016, having been introduced to him by a mutual friend.

She became the Duchess of Sussex when the pair married on May 19, and the world has been watching her every royal step since, including her recent tour of the Pacific in October.

Continuing his tirade, Morgan said, "The old slippery slope ladder had gone up, she's social climbed her way out of my orbit

"So my experience wasn't great, I've got to be honest with you. And everything I've seen since, I'm afraid it slightly does smack of an actress, a Hollywood actress, seizing her chance and acting her way to the top."

During the Australian leg of her Pacific tour, Morgan spoke about the Duchess of Sussex's appearance in Dubbo, suggesting her behaviour was fake.

"Every one of her family acts ... I mean, she's an actress. She's acting great, I think, at the moment," he declared at the time.
