Adorable photos of Prince Louis released for royal's fourth birthday

Adorable new photos of Prince Louis have been shared by a very proud Prince William and Kate Middleton on the eve of their son's birthday.

In one of the photos, the three going on four-year-old is seen smiling cheekily at the camera, running on a beach.

The photos were taken by Kate on a trip to Norfolk, England earlier this month.

In a second photo, the youngster smiles shyly at the camera, holding an orange striped ball. The prince wears a warm woolly grey jumper and green shorts for the occasion.

The royal's birthday falls on April 23, just two days after his grandmother's, the Queen. The new photos come as a delight to royal fans, who haven't seen a glimpse of Louis for some months now.

He was not spotted with his parents and siblings at his grandfather Prince Philip's memorial in March, but it seems the young prince is happy and thriving as he awaits his fourth birthday.

The youngest among his siblings - Prince George, eight, and Princess Charlotte, six - Louis is yet to be seen out and about with his parents just as much as the eldest two are.

However, his parents have shared some insight into his kind and affectionate nature over the years.

During an interview with BBC Breakfast in 2020, Kate revealed her youngest was having some trouble adjusting to COVID-19 life.

"Louis doesn't understand social distancing," she told the show presenters. "So he goes out wanting to cuddle everything and particularly any babies younger than him."
