Monaco is set to play host to its second royal wedding of the year.

One of Grace Kelly's grandsons is set to tie the knot with his long-term love.

Louis Ducruet will marry his fiancée, Marie Chevallier, at Monaco Cathedral, where his grandfather Prince Rainier III and Princess Grace are buried.

The nuptials will take place on Saturday July 27 and will be attended by several members of the Grimaldi family, including Louis' mother Princess Stephanie.

Monaco's ruler, Prince Albert, will be there along with his wife Princess Charlene.

The groom's aunty, Princess Caroline, is also likely to attend the event. Two weeks ago, Princess Caroline's daughter, Charlotte Casiraghi, married in a stunning religious ceremony in southern France. It was the second wedding for Casiraghi and her husband – film producer Dimitri Rassam – after their civil service on June 1 at Monaco's Prince's Palace.

There's no word on whether Casiraghi and her new husband will attend their cousin's wedding next week, but it's highly likely.

Although Ducruet, 26, doesn't hold a royal title, he is currently 15th in line to the Monegasque throne.

He proposed to Chevallier in February 2018 in Vietnam, where his bride-to-be is from.

Sharing several photos of the proposal on Instagram he wrote, "Let me introduce you the future madame Ducruet. She said yes and we are now engaged".

They recently celebrated their seventh anniversary after meeting at the Skema Business School in France. Ducruet and Chevallier then graduated from the Western Carolina University, in the United States.

Ducruet and Chevallier describe themselves as "mother" and "father" to their dog, Pancake, and regularly post photos of their little family to Instagram.

She celebrated her hen's party with seven bridesmaids in Las Vegas and shared several photos of the event to her social media followers.

Although the wedding will be a private affair, it's hoped the Monaco royal family will release an official portrait of the happy couple.
