Mike Tindall has his nose straightened, years after Royal Family asked him to

The Royal Family likes to play it straight, and now Queen Elizabeth’s grandson-in-law Mike Tindall has fallen into line - well, his nose has, at least.
 
The retired footballer, who is married to Zara Phillips, is perhaps as famous for his crooked nose as he is for his prowess on the rugby field.
 
After breaking it at least eight times, Tindall, 39, has now undergone surgery to have the distinctive feature straightened. 

The soon-to-be father of two and his new nose attended the Spring Wolf Run event, with a remarkable difference apparent in the photos he shared on Twitter.

Tindall is said to have had the surgery “fine-tuned” last week.
 
It’s a major change for the rugby star, but his in-laws might be even happier about the transformation than he is.

Apparently, she was concerned about how his nose would look in the wedding photos.  

However, Tindall declined to undergo the procedure as the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand was approaching - and with it, the possibility of yet another break.

"I don't really want to get it fixed but it looks like I might have to because I can't actually breathe very well,” he told The Mirror in 2015.

“I guess it's something similar to a pug.
