Referring to a state banquet at Buckingham Palace, when she was sat next to Charles, Melania said it was an "absolute pleasure to reconnect with him".
"This time we engaged in an interesting conversation about his deep-rooted commitment to environmental conservation," she added.

Melania also described meeting the late Elizabeth II during the state visit in 2019, saying she "truly connected" with the Queen.
They had tea inside Windsor Castle and the Queen, with corgis at her feet, poured tea.
Melania says the Queen gave her a silver box inlaid with the rose, the thistle and the shamrock – the plant symbols for England, Scotland and Ireland.

Melania says the box was "echoing the intricate ceiling motifs of" one of Buckingham Palace's rooms.
Elsewhere in the book, she recounts a meeting with Pope Francis at the Vatican.
After the Pontiff had blessed Melania's rosary, he asked: "What do you give him [Donald] to eat? Potica?"
Melania writes: "'Yes, pizza,' I replied, not fully hearing him. Then I realised he was inquiring about potica, the traditional Slovenian pastry."
