Meghan Markle spent her flight to Toronto with champagne and a rom-com
If you didn't spend your flight sipping wine and getting misty-eyed over rom-coms, did you even board a plane?
Evidently, even Meghan Markle isn't too fancy to indulge in the classic mid-flight combination.
Last week, the Duchess of Sussex, 37, jetted out for a sneaky visit to Toronto, the city she lived in before relocating to the UK to be with Prince Harry.
According to reports, she flew economy (gasp!) and passed her time in the air with some champagne, some tea, and Diane Keaton's latest film.

“Meghan had one glass of champagne before settling down to watch Book Club. She seemed very relaxed and sipped on peppermint tea during the journey," the source says.
The passenger added Meghan had swapped her trademark boat-neck dresses for "skinny black jeans, a black cashmere sweater, black ballerina flats and a black baseball cap".
Sounds like your average jetsetter, no? Well, the similarities with us commoners end there, as the Duchess was also accompanied by two secret service personnel.

Scobie claims they spent that time "catching up, lounging poolside and playing with [the] children", with Meghan flying back to London in time to join her husband for a performance of Hamilton.
Anyone who watched the Royal Wedding on May 19 would be familiar with the faces of Jessica Mulroney and her adorable offspring: twins Brian and John, and daughter Ivy.

The three children were all part of Meghan's bridal party - the boys memorably carried her train as she entered St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle (who could forget those facial expressions?), while Ivy joined Princess Charlotte as a bridesmaid.
Jessica was seen arriving at the event moments before her friend, shepherding the children into the chapel.
It's believed her dark blue dress represented the bride's "something blue".

The pair formed a close friendship, often holidaying together and featuring one on another's Instagram feeds.
Jessica and her TV host husband were also among the inner circle Prince Harry was introduced to in the early days of his romance with Meghan, with the couples often dining together.
Though they now live in separate cities, Jessica and Meghan remain closely involved in one another's lives.

Meghan's next major overseas trip will be her tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga in October.
Armed with this new information about her flying habits, we just hope there are some decent movies on board for that 22-hour flight...
