Meghan, Duchess of Sussex set to make Hollywood comeback
It's official: Meghan Markle is coming out of acting retirement.
The Duchess of Sussex's eight-year hiatus has come to an unexpected end, with reports emerging that she will be appearing in the upcoming feature film Close Personal Friends.
The 44-year-old is set to make a cameo alongside other big names including Emily In Paris' Lily Collins, The Boys star Jack Quaid and Oscar-winner Brie Larson.

This announcement will come as a surprise to fans, who had long-since given up on the idea of Meghan ever returning to the big screen.
The Suits alum, who announced her departure from Hollywood in 2017, had wistfully admitted in a recent podcast that she "sometimes missed acting."
And now she is reportedly starring as herself in the flick, which will follow two couples – one famous, one not.
Further details of the project are shrouded in secrecy, but word is that Meghan is currently on-set in Pasadena, LA working on the film.

This is reportedly the first step for Meghan, and a way of "seeing how she enjoys being back on set."
Meghan has been soft-launching her return to television for quite some time, with multiple projects involving her and husband Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex becoming the subject of much buzz – and scrutiny – in recent years.
The pair wed in 2018, before stepping down from royal duties and moving to Meghan's native California in 2020.
In his autobiography Spare, Harry admitted he'd watched her acting prior to meeting her.
"I'd witnessed her and a cast mate mauling each other in some sort of office conference room," he wrote.
"It would take electric shock therapy to get those images out of my head."
