Meghan makes green waffles for St Patrick's Day using this unique gift from Queen Elizabeth II
Meghan is getting into the St. Patrick's Day spirit with some help from the late Queen Elizabeth II.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, has offered fans a rare glimpse into her family's festivities alongside her husband, Prince Harry, and their two children, five-year-old son Archie and three-year-old daughter Lilibet.
Taking to Instagram Stories, the royal posted a series of videos of herself making a delicious St. Patrick's Day-themed breakfast, captioning the post, "About this morning…"

The former Suits star filmed herself pouring green batter into a waffle maker to create an adorable edible face for her kids, using a kiwi and whipped cream for the eyes and mouth.
There were also green milkshakes, as Meghan said, "We love a theme!"
The royal then added, "Happy St. Patrick's Day," while showing her more adult waffles and a glass of what appeared to be green juice.
The waffle maker featured in Meghan's Story found its way to the Sussex clan in a unique way.

Prince Harry, 40, has previously revealed the appliance was a gift from his grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth II, to his son Archie when he was a toddler.
"My grandmother asked us what Archie wanted for Christmas, and Meg said a waffle maker. She sent us a waffle maker for Archie," the Duke of Sussex said during an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
"So breakfast now, Meg makes up a beautiful organic mix in the waffle maker."

Archie, who was less than two years old at the time, "loves" the kitchen appliance, with the royal dad adding, "Archie wakes up in the morning and goes 'waffle.'"
Meghan recently opened up about another family ritual she shares with her children each week.
Speaking with the Godmothers Substack for their March 7 newsletter, she shared that spending Saturday mornings in bed watching cartoons with her family is one of her favourite moments of the week.

"In the UK, they call it a 'duvet day,' and I've always found that sweet," she said.
"Our little family snuggled up for an easy family morning followed by pancakes and bacon. The dream."
The royal went on to explain that her children have also begun to take an interest in her personal hobbies.
"I love flower arranging. It's not something I grew up doing, but arranging flowers is one of those simple pleasures that I can get lost in," she began.

"[It] sparks my creativity, allows me tangibly to get my hands in something that adds beauty, and connects me to nature.
"My kids have jumped in to help me make arrangements, too, which makes it all the sweeter."
