Meghan Markle and Prince Harry planning 'fake royal tour' to Australia, claims royal expert
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are planning more "fake royal tours" around the world, including one in Australia, a royal commentator claims.
The Sussexes September visit to New York was their first official trip together in the public eye since the birth of their daughter Lilibet in June.
But the visit has many speculating what Meghan and Harry are touring for, since the pair exited royal life.

The duo's recent New York jaunt, according to royal critic Neil Sean, was less a holiday and more a "public expedition".
The Sussexes were first hosted by the city's mayor Bill de Blasio, and then seen attending local landmarks including the One World Trade Center.

They also notably appeared at the New York Global Citizen Live concert event, where they made a plea for vaccine equity.
In a viral video posted to his YouTube channel (watch above), Sean calls the New York trip a "fake royal tour" and alleges the Sussexes have plans to do it again in Australia, Japan and some other parts of the US.
The last time the Sussexes visited Australia was in 2018.

"According to a very good source, Harry and Meghan are planning even more, shall we say, 'fake royal tours' in 2022," Sean says in the clip.
"But a lot of people are baffled, because what exactly are they touring for? Is it themselves? The Archibald Foundation? Their own charities?" he adds.

Sean also suggests that Harry and Meghan are attempting to "reignite their once popularity in far-flung places" given the pair are "not that popular" at the moment.
These potential trips would likely coincide with the release of Prince Harry's tell-all memoir, which has sparked concerns around what it might do to the British monarchy's reputation.

Critics have speculated Harry may name the "royal racist" who allegedly commented on his son Archie's skin colour before he was born.
Sean suggested the international tours could offer Harry a chance to promote his new book, particularly given the "big markets" Australia and Japan have.

While the Sussexes are reportedly planning more trips around the world, they are yet to finalise a date to return to the UK and introduce the Queen to her newest grandchild, Lilibet.
Harry and Meghan had proposed they fly to the UK to introduce their new addition to her famous great grandmother in September, which reportedly left senior royal staff "stunned".
