What Meghan called Harry in front of the Hamilton cast that left them blushing

It was almost like they were the only two people in the room at Wednesday's Hamilton charity performance.

As newlyweds Meghan Markle and Prince Harry got into place to take some post-show pictures with the cast, they may have briefly forgotten they were surrounded by people and cameras, with a sweet slip up from the couple.

Footage has surface on social media as everyone was getting into place for the group shot with The Duchess of Sussex, who was standing in front of her husband, turning around to say: "Can you see, my love?"

When some cast members reacted to the pet name and let out an "Awww", it seems the 37-year-old remembered where she was and presumably Royal Protocol.

"Oh!" she said, giggling and putting her hand on her chest in shock.

The unguarded moment left everyone giggling and had both Meghan and Prince Harry blushing.

The couple are known for their public displays of affection but it's the first time we've heard them speaking to each other like any other loved-up couple.

"They're perfect! Better than movie-love," one fan cooed alongside the post.

While another mused: "That was so sweet. What we see in front of the camera is actually what goes on at home."

The Duke of Sussex stepped onto the stage after the performance, which features his sixth great-grandfather, King George III, as a character in the American musical.

Before speaking about his charity Sentebale, the 33-year-old very briefly burst into song, something Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda was pretty chuffed about.

"King George III’s great-great-great-great-great-great grandson The Duke Of Sussex sang a few bars tonight," he tweeted, sharing the clip.
