Rumours Meghan has befriended Adele after 'ditching' Jessica Mulroney

Just weeks after supposedly cutting contact with former BBF Jessica Mulroney, Meghan Markle has reportedly found a new bestie in none other than music superstar Adele.

The pair supposedly met when Meghan and Prince Harry relocated to LA earlier this year, following their royal split, and have grown close since.

Adele, 32, lives near the royals' new Beverly Hills home and it's rumoured she's even been going to Pilates sessions with them.

"Meghan and Adele have been having Pilates lessons. They are loving it. The instructor has also been giving lessons to Harry. It's a great stress-buster," a source told The Sun.

Meghan has been a fan of yoga for years and she and Adele are rumoured to have bonded through their new exercise endeavours.

The singer recently stunned her fans with an incredible body transformation, and is working hard to maintain her new figure.

As for Meghan, this isn't the first time she's befriended an A-lister.

With pals like Oprah Winfrey and Serena Williams in her corner, the 39-year-old royal had plenty of star-powered friends even before she became a royal.

Her time as an actress, especially while working on hit TV drama Suits, saw her rubbing shoulders with stars on the regular, and many have remained her friends.

But one friendship has been in the spotlight lately; Meghan's relationship with Jessica Mulroney.

The stylist recently caused controversy when a Black influencer accused Mulroney of abusing her "white privilege" and threatening the influencer's livelihood.

In the days and weeks following, Mulroney was dropped from several brands and TV spots and disappeared from social media as the scandal unfolded.

Now there are rumours that Meghan's friendship with Mulroney was already on the rock, and the racism scandal was the nail in the coffin of their years-long relationship.

With Meghan and Harry now living in LA, surrounded by the rich and famous, it's likely that we'll see more A-list stars cosying up to the royal couple.

Freed from the restrictions of their former roles as senior working royals, which they officially left behind in March, the Sussexes can now pursue new projects in LA.

They're likely to focus on charity work, public speaking and humanitarian causes, but their plans have been undoubtedly impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

Their new charity named for their son, Archewell, has already faced setbacks and delays due to the pandemic.
