Queen Elizabeth’s sweet tribute to newlyweds Harry and Meghan only lasted a week before it was replaced by a shot of Harry with his brother, Prince William.
The picture made headlines when eagle-eyed royal watchers spotted the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were given pride of place in Her Majesty’s Audience Room.

The portrait, which had never been seen before, showed Harry and Meghan embracing, and is believed to have been taking by the couple's wedding photographer Alexi Lubomirski as part of their engagement shoot in December.
However, the Queen has now switched it up again, changing the sweet picture for one of her grandsons Prince Harry and Prince William instead.

The change was seen during the audience with celebrated composer Thea Musgrave, who was invited to Buckingham Palace to be presented with the Queen’s Medal for Music.

However, the quick turnaround certainly isn’t a reflection of the Queen’s feelings towards Meghan; she regularly shuffles the images on display, and with such a big family it’s unsurprising the moves don’t last for long.
In fact, Her Majesty and Meghan Markle will attend a joint engagement together, minus Prince Harry, when they go to Chester in the UK together on June 13. Meghan will even ride the royal train with the Queen -- a privilege usually saved for the senior members of the Royal Family.

Meghan has spoken of her admiration for the Queen, saying in her engagement interview that meeting her for the first time was “incredible”.
“To be able to meet her through his lens, not just with his honour and respect for her as the monarch but the love that he has for her as his grandmother, all of those layers have been so important for me,” she told the BBC.
“When I met her I had such a deep understanding and of course incredible respect for being able to have that time with her. She’s an incredible woman.”
