Meghan marks Easter with a special message and behind-the-scenes 'surprise': 'Wishing you a happy Easter full of love'

Meghan Markle has shared a behind-the-scenes "surprise" from her Easter this year.

While the British Royal Family were out in Windsor for their annual Easter Sunday service, the Duchess of Sussex sweetly marked the occasion with a candid video for her 2.7 million Instagram followers.

In a short clip posted to her Instagram grid on Sunday (Monday local time), Meghan spotted a family of ducks crossing the road – a very fitting sighting for the holiday.

She also shared an Easter message to fans, writing: "Wishing you a Happy Easter full of love….and surprises!"

The Duchess shared the adorable video with Louis Jordan's Choo Choo Ch'Boogie playing over it.

The royal watched in excitement and followed as the ducklings hopped out from the side of the road and crossed to the other side in a lineup.

Meghan looked stylish in the video wearing a white halterneck gown.

The Duchess also shared the heartwarming video to her Instagram Stories.

Meghan has had a busy start to the year, launching her own lifestyle brand, As Ever, as well as starting a podcast and coming out with a Netflix series.

Her recent video comes as the royal family celebrated Easter with their annual Sunday Mattins service at St. George's Chapel on the Windsor Castle grounds.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla led the royal arrivals, which included Princess Anne, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh and their son James, 17, Sarah Ferguson and her daughters Princess Eugenie and Beatrice, as well as a surprise appearance from Prince Andrew.

The Prince and Princess of Wales and their three children were missing from the royal family's Easter celebrations for the second year in a row.

William and Catherine were reportedly spending Easter this year with their kids at their country home in Norfolk, Anmer Hall.
