How Harry and Meghan's royal wedding changed Lady Kitty Spencer's life
Lady Kitty Spencer, niece of the late Princess Diana, has opened up about how her cousin Prince Harry’s wedding to Meghan Markle changed her life.
On the big day all eyes were, of course, on the royal bride and groom, but many royal fans also took notice of the eldest daughter of Diana’s brother, Earl Charles Spencer.

Many on social media began comparing the 28-year-old to her late aunt Diana, and the knock-on effect has catapulted Kitty into the limelight.
She admits this new level of public exposure was “unexpected”.
“[My Instagram followers] went from 17,000 to half a million in one night,” she told BAZAAR.com in a recent interview.

So much so, when Kitty woke up the day after the wedding she was convinced she had the wrong phone.
While Kitty had signed with a modelling agency – which also kick-started Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne’s careers – four years ago, it was the royal wedding that put her name on the map.
Just a week after the nuptials, the model was announced as the new ambassador for designer brand Bulgari.

Since then, the first cousin of Prince William and Harry has been living life in the fast lane travelling all over the world for work.
She also visited her hometown of Cape Town, South Africa, for the festive season.
However, while her career is showing no signs of slowing down, Kitty has insisted she isn’t going to become “obsessive” or “unhealthy” just to please a brand’s wants.
"If I've agreed to do something for a brand or whatever, I look after myself but I'm not obsessive or unhealthy,” she told the publication.
"If a brand wants to work with me, and think their designs look good on me, then they can give them to me in my size."
