Prince Charles meets pop star Katy Perry during royal tour of India
Prince Charles has met pop star Katy Perry during his two-day visit to India.
The Prince of Wales was attending an event in honour of his charity, the British Asian Trust, in Mumbai.
The Trust was founded by Prince Charles in 2007 and aims to tackle widespread poverty and inequality in South Asia.

Clarence House shared a photo of His Royal Highness with the music superstar, saying Perry had "heard about the work of the Trust and joined other supporters to learn more about the charity".
Prince Charles is in India for a short visit focused on sustainable markets, climate change and social finance while celebrating celebrate British-Indian connections.

On his arrival in New Delhi, the Prince of Wales visited one of the largest Sikh temples, Bangla Sahib Gurdwara, where he tried his hand at making a chapati.
Prince Charles' visit coincides with the 550th birthday of the religion's founder, Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Ahead of his visit, the Prince of Wales shared his first personal message to Instagram, praising the religion for having a "most profound contribution to the life of this country".

During the first day of the tour, Prince Charles met India's president and planted a tree on the grounds of the Presidential Palace.
Charles also visited the India Meteorological Department, where he heard about the new cyclone forecasting system allowing faster preparation and response time for India and other countries.

The Prince of Wales was able to test out one of the city's e-rickshaws, a sustainable alternative to traditional transport.
To conclude his busy day, Prince Charles laid a wreath at the Delhi War Cemetery, which contains the graves of more than 1000 Commonwealth casualties from WW2.
Day two saw the Prince of Wales launch a textiles training initiative, The Modern Artisan Project, to empower students from the UK and Italy to design and produce a sustainable luxury capsule collection of menswear and womenswear through online giant Net-A-Porter.
Prince Charles will also celebrate his 71st birthday on Thursday, although no official engagements have been planned for the occasion.
It is the 10th time Charles has travelled to India on behalf of the Queen.
