Kate Middleton reacts to Princess Eugenie's pregnancy announcement

We all couldn't be more excited about the news that Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank are expecting their first child together. And nobody is more excited than their royal counterparts in Kensington Palace.

Princess Eugenie posted two photos on her Instagram account revealing the happy news, alongside the caption; "Jack and I are so excited for early 2021."

Buckingham Palace confirmed the news and the royal family shared their excitement on social media, which was abuzz with the royal baby news.

The official Kensington Palace account was one of the 400,000 people who liked their sweet post, which also included a new photo of the couple, hinting at the fact that Kate Middleton herself is overjoyed at the news.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also 'liked' Eugenie's Instagram announcement from their own accounts, clearly offering even more praise and good tidings.

Eugenie and Jack's baby joins numerous other beautiful royal bubs, and will hopefully be a new friend for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's little ones: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

The royal family's Twitter account, has also reacted to the baby news, saying, "Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021."

"The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news."

Though no official date was released, in keeping with royal baby tradition, it's believed Eugenie could give birth between the months of January and April 2021.

Several royal birthdays fall at the start of the year – including Eugenie's on 23 March – meaning the child could share a birthday with another royal.
