The Princess of Wales will return to Westminster Abbey in December for her annual Christmas carol concert.

While the Together at Christmas special is yet to be formally announced by Kate, The Royal Foundation let slip her plans in its annual report.

The confirmation came after the Prince William and Kate's foundation summarised their charitable endeavours over 2024 and their plans for the remainder of this year.

"Finally, to close 2025, the 'Together at Christmas' will once again aim to bring together communities across the UK to celebrate people who have gone out of their way to help others with even more impactful local services," they noted.

Last year, the royal brought together 1600 guests who had helped their own communities as an expression of thanks, with the event theme being "empathy and kindness".

Inside the famous London church there were performances by Gregory Porter and Paloma Faith, as well as readings from celebrities, including actor Richard E Grant.

Among the famous faces in the pews were members of Kate's family from both the royal and Middleton sides.

Of course Prince William and their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were all on hand to show their support.

But also, Kate's mum, Carole Middleton; dad, Michael Middleton; sister, Pippa Middleton; brother, James Middleton; and sister-in-law Alizee Thevenet all joined in.

As did royal cousins Princess Beatrice with her husband, Edorardo Mapelli Mozzi, along with Zara Tindall and hubby Mike.

Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, attended solo, as did Lady Gabriella Windsor.

Gabriella's brother Lord Frederick Windsor made it a family affair with his actress wife Sophie Winkleman and their two daughters.

Two people who aren't expected to attend this year are King Charles and Queen Camilla.

The couple attended Kate's first concert in 2021 and returned in 2022, with the service that year dedicated to the late Queen Elizabeth II.

After the King's coronation in 2023, they skipped the event due to a prior obligation at Highgrove, the King's private estate.

Their Majesties also opted not to attend last year, which it's understood was so the spotlight would stay firmly on Kate and her efforts, with the event being her first major public engagement after completing her chemotherapy last September.

The concert is held in early December each year and is recorded for a TV special, which airs across the UK on Christmas Eve. In 2024, more than 3 million viewers tuned in.

No date has been announced as yet for this year's event.
