As this is the first summer the Queen will spend at Balmoral without Prince Philip and restrictions are lifting in the UK, it is expected the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will join Her Majesty for at least part of the summer, making use of this residence.

Prince William inherited the cottage, called Tam-Na-Ghar, from his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother.

The home is shrouded in secrecy, with no photos of its exterior or interior widely available.
