Kate Middleton has made a surprise appearance at a farm in Northern Ireland.
The Duchess of Cambridge visited The Ark Open Farm in Newtownards, near Belfast, as part of the tour to promote her landmark UK-wide survey, '5 Big Questions on the Under-Fives'.
The mother-of-three spoke with children from two local nurseries and helped the youngsters bottle-feed a lamb, pat turtles and snakes.

The Duchess also met one of the alpacas there, patting its shaggy mane with a laugh.

For the outing, the 38-year-old had the country chic look down in black skinny jeans with knee-high leather boots by Penelope Chilvers.
This was paired with a Troy London khaki jacket with a light blue turtle neck underneath.

Kate opted for her signature bouncy blow dry and added gold leaf shaped earrings.
The Duchess also stopped for a cup of tea and spoke with local parents and grandparents to hear their thoughts on the important things children need to have the best start in life.
The royal has already visited Birmingham, Cardiff, Woking and London to promote the Early Years survey, which runs until the end of next week.
