Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reside in a stunning $20.9 million mansion in California's sunny Montecito with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet

The pair first moved to the US in 2020, the same year they stepped down as senior members of the British royal family and left their former UK abode, the historic Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, behind.

Their sprawling new home in Montecito, the neighbourhood where the likes of Oprah Winfrey and Ariana Grande live, was compared to a "Tuscan villa" by The Cut back in 2022, who interviewed the Duchess of Sussex from their home.

The home, according to reports, is believed to have nine bedrooms, lush, manicured gardens, a swimming pool and even a tennis court and chicken coop.

And although Meghan has her own Netflix cooking show, called With Love, Meghan, their home kitchen was off limits for the show; using a rental home instead to cook from.

Nine Honey takes a look at the glimpses the pair have given fans of their luxury home recently.

Well, Meghan recently gave fans a glimpse at the rustic mansion and the two palm trees in their yard, previously saying the tropical-looking trees hold special meaning for her and Harry.

She shared a tribute to her children for Mother's Day 2025 that showed off a stunning balcony in their home, covered in vines and featuring wood and wrought iron detailing – with a view of the palm trees in the distance.

The former actress previously told The Cut the palm trees on the property won them over in the sale and hold special meaning for them both.

"One of the first things my husband saw when we walked around the house was those two palm trees," she told the publication about when they first toured the luxury home.

"See how they're connected at the bottom? He goes, 'My love, it's us.'"

Their backyard also features manicured lawns and a cottage-style garden with lots of greenery and flowers.

The heart of the home; the kitchen

Although it had a big price tag, securing the house purchase was a must for Harry and Meghan.

Meghan said the pair fell in love with the house, because it gives them "joy" and helps them "feel free".

"We did everything we could to get this house," she added to The Cut.

Meghan recently shared a video of herself making biscuits with friends in her actual kitchen, where bronze pots and pans were seen hanging overhead, white cabinets on the walls and wooden kitchen benches.

Their kitchen leads to an open dining room, complete with a dark wooden table and a hanging chandelier.

But she told People she chose to rent out a house nearby to use for her cooking show as her home and kitchen is her "safe haven".
