Donald Trump goes after Meghan yet again: 'Harry's been used terribly'

If there's one thing that binds Donald Trump and Piers Morgan, it's their habit of taking any and every opportunity to air their gripes about Meghan Markle.

The former US president, 75, has once again criticised the Duchess of Sussex, 40 — this time in a new interview with fellow ex-politician Nigel Farage for GB News.

"I'm not a fan of hers. I wasn't from day one," Trump begins in Farage: The Trump Interview, echoing a remark he said in a Fox News interview earlier this year.

"I think Harry's been used, and been used terribly. I think it's ruined his relationship with his family, and it hurts the Queen."

The former reality TV star has long been a vocal supporter of Queen Elizabeth's, doubling down on this stance in his interview with Farage, which airs soon in the UK.

"[Her Majesty is] such a great woman, such a great person, a historic person," he adds.

As for Meghan's foray into political activism in the US following her resignation as a working royal, he believes her actions have been "very inappropriate".

Trump has sounded off about the former Suits star on numerous occasions, including labelling her "nasty" in the leadup to his state visit to the UK in 2019.

The remark was in reference to a 2016 talk show interview in which Meghan called the then-presidential candidate "a vocal misogynist", and quipped that were he elected, she would move to Canada.

"I didn't know that. What can I say? I didn't know that she was nasty," Trump told The Sun when a reporter asked about the comment, made before the duchess was a royal.

He later attempted to deny the remark by claiming it had been "Made up by the Fake News Media", which prompted the newspaper to release a recording of the interview in question.

Trump also issued a stern message to Harry and Meghan following their move to North America in early 2020, declaring the US would not pay their security costs.

Earlier this year, he told Fox News Primetime said he hoped rumours of Meghan contemplating a political run were true.

"I hope that happens. If that happened, I think I'd have an even stronger feeling toward running," he said.

"I have met with the Queen and I think the Queen is a tremendous person, and I am not a fan of Meghan."
