Crown Prince Christian's military training resumes at Antvorskov Barracks after summer break
Queen Mary and King Frederik's eldest child is back to military training after a summer break.
Crown Prince Christian returned to Antvorskov Barracks in Slagelse, about 95 kilometres west of Copenhagen, this week for the lieutenants training course there.
On Thursday (Friday morning AEST) the press were allowed into the barracks to see Denmark's uniformed future king undertake a series of exercises before training kicks into full gear.

The course will last a year and be followed by an undetermined length of time serving as a platoon leader for some practical experience in the armed forces.
Similar to when princes William and Harry from the British royal family undertook their military training at Sandhurst, the royal will be treated like all others in the course.
It's the first time Christian has been seen publicly since running alongside his dad, King Frederik, and younger brother, Prince Vincent, in the annual Royal Run event in June.
Prince Christian, 19, isn't the only one of his siblings to return to the day-to-day grind after the summer holidays.

His younger sister, 18-year-old Princess Isabella, is returning to her studies this week at Øregård Gymnasium, the Copenhagen high school Prince Christian also graduated from.
Twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine, 14, have also kicked off their school year but in two different schools.
Prince Vincent will go into the 8th grade at his Copenhagen school, Tranegårdsskolen.
Princess Josephine has chosen, "at her own request", to continue her 8th grade education at Spir Efterskole, the Danish royal household announced earlier this week.
The boarding school is located almost 300 kilometres away from Copenhagen, where the royal family live most of the year.
Australian-born Queen Mary has been out and about at official engagements this week, bringing an end to the royals' summer holidays.
