Along with each inception comes a lineage of royal titles, including the Baron of Renfrew and other unusual and obscure inclusions.
Let's take a look at the many royal titles each of the current members of the British royal family has, and reveal the identity of the mysterious baron.
And the Baron of Renfrew is... Prince William. The title is one of his Scottish titles which also includes the Duke of Rothesay.
The two Scottish titles are closely associated.
The title of Lord Renfrew was historically used by the traveling Prince of Wales.
It has been reported that in the early stages of her relationship with the then Prince of Wales, Prince Charles, Diana told friends she was dating Charles Renfrew to keep his real identity under wraps.
William was also named Earl of Chester in 2023.
As well as the Prince of Wales and the Baron of Renfrew, Prince William has also ascended the titles the Duke of Cornwall, the Duke of Rothesay, Earl of Carrick, Lord of the Isles and Prince and Great Steward of Scotland.
William, 41, was also named the Duke of Cambridge upon his marriage to Kate Middleton in 2011.
He also received the titles of Earl of Strathearn and Baron Carrickfergus on his wedding day.
In Scotland he is known as His Royal Highness The Earl of Strathearn.
Upon her marriage to Prince William, Catherine became the Duchess of Cambridge, the Countess of Strathearn and Baroness Carrickfergus.
In Scotland she is styled Her Royal Highness The Countess of Strathearn. Catherine is also Carrick, and Baroness of Renfrew in Scotland.
As wife of the Earl of Chester, Catherine is also the Countess of Chester.
Upon King Charles' ascension, she was named the Princess of Wales.
The monarch also has his fair share of titles. He was known as the Prince of Wales until his ascension when he became King Charles III.
In 2021, upon the death of his father, Prince Philip, Charles inherited the titles Duke of Edinburgh, Earl of Merioneth, and Baron Greenwich.
When his mother Queen Elizabeth became monarch in 1954, Charles, as her eldest son, became the Duke of Cornwall.

Charles was also the Earl of Chester and upon the death of his father, Prince Philip, Charles inherited the titles Duke of Edinburgh, Earl of Merioneth, and Baron Greenwich.
Her later passed the Duke of Edinburgh title to his younger brother Prince Edward.
When he became king, his titles merged with the Crown.
Queen Camilla was the Duchess of Cornwall before King Charles ascension.
In Scotland she was known as Her Royal The Duchess of Rothesay.
Camilla was legally Princess of Wales at the time although this was not acknowledged due to it's close association with Charles' first wife Diana.
After the death of Prince Philip, Camilla also inherited the title of Duchess of Edinburgh alongside her husband however this was massed onto Sophie, Prince Edward's husband who inherited the Duke title.
Camilla also inherited the titles the Countess of Merioneth and Baroness Greenwich.
Princess Anne is known as the Princess Royal and she has also previously been known as Her Royal Highness Princess Anne of Edinburgh until 1952.
