Royal wedding bishop reveals most memorable moment
For bishop Michael Curry, there were a number of memorable moments from the royal wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. However, the 65-year-old preacher will always remember the obvious displays of true love between the bride and groom.

Despite not knowing Meghan and Harry before delivering his sermon at their wedding, Curry said it was easy to see how truly in love the couple were during the ceremony - just from the way they looked at each other.
"Once I realised this was really happening, it was a real blessing to be a part of that. Because what they did, you could see it. They actually love each other. They really do," he said in an interview with Us Weekly.

While the passionate sermon garnered a few smiles from wedding guests and the bride and groom, Curry’s message was no doubt a powerful one, inspired by the teachings of American minister and iconic social figure Martin Luther King Jr.
“We must discover the power of love, the redemptive power of love. And when we discover that, we will be able to make of this old world a new world. Love is the only way," Curry quoted during his speech.

Following the royal nuptials, Curry was celebrated as a key wedding highlight and quickly became a media sensation with TV stations lining up for an interview with the outwardly passionate bishop. Footage of his sermon also exploded across online platforms.
Curry said the international response to his preach has been “wonderful”.
Despite intending the speech to run for just six minutes, the bishop admits he got carried away and, before he knew it, he was closing on the 13 minute mark.
“When I sat down from the sermon I remember thinking to myself: ‘I hope that was okay,’” he revealed on Good Morning Britain.
