Beatrice Borromeo models for Dior in latest glamorous campaign

A glamorous member of Monaco's royal family is the star of a new campaign by luxury fashion house Dior.

Beatrice Borromeo models in the stunning shots with the brand's iconic Lady 95.22 bag.

The 37-year-old is described by Dior as its "house ambassador, journalist and filmmaker".

Borromeo signed with the French brand in February last year, followed by her husband Pierre Casiraghi, who was contracted in October.

She is the daughter of an Italian count and married Casiraghi in 2015 in the gardens of the Prince's Palace of Monaco, in front of the who's who of Europe's royal families.

The couple is now one of the Monegasque royal family's most stunning and often appear together at red carpet events.

Casiraghi is the grandson of Princess Grace and youngest son of Princess Caroline of Monaco and Stefano Casiraghi.

His uncle is Monaco's ruler, Prince Albert II and Casiraghi is currently eighth-in-line to the throne.

In an video accompanying the new campaign, Borromeo spoke about her work-life balance.

She and her husband have two children, sons Stefano, five and Francesco, four.

"It would be very hard to just choose one aspect of my life," she says.

"I am happy because of the whole it it.

"I love my family life, I love my career life. You need a good balance."

Borromeo also admitted her personal style is often different to how she is photographed at events.

"Most of the times, on a daily basis, I am very sporty. I am very casual. But if I feel like it, I can play it up a little."

The Monegasque royal family has been linked with Dior since the days of Princess Grace.

The former actress regularly wore its creations, while Casiraghi's aunty Princess Stephanie worked at Dior as an intern under designer Marc Bohan in 1980s.

Casiraghi's mother, Princess Caroline, wore a dress by Bohan for her 1978 wedding to Philippe Junot.

Casiraghi's sister Charlotte became a brand ambassador for Chanel in 2020 while his cousin Pauline Ducret has her own clothing line, Alter.

Before signing with Dior, Borromeo often wore clothes by other high-end designers.

In 2016 she told Glamour magazine: "For formal occasions I wear Valentino or Armani because they are kind enough to let me borrow stuff.

"I couldn't afford to buy as many dresses as I need for public functions."
