Duke and Duchess of Sussex hosted party at home before labour began: reports
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their first child on Monday, announcing their baby boy was born at 5:26am local time, weighing 3.3kgs.
As details surrounding the birth of Baby Sussex come to light, there's plenty of speculation around the particulars—including whether Meghan Markle fulfilled her wish of having a home birth.
However, there are now multiple reports saying the first-time-mum delivered their son in American-owned The Portland Hospital in London with Prince Harry, 34 and mum Doria Ragland, by her side.

"We don't know the details of what happened but we do know she was taken to The Portland on Sunday evening and that's where we believe the baby was born," royal correspondent Emily Andrews told Good Morning Britain on Tuesday morning.
It's understood the 37-year-old did not require a c-section and the birth went along "without any apparent hitches".
Buckingham Palace have not confirmed these reports, re-iterating the couple want to keep details of the baby's birth "private".

So much so, the pair didn't include the physicians names on the statement announcing the birth, placed on the easel outside the Palace.
It's also been reported the couple were actually hosting a party just hours before Meghan went into labour.
The Duke and Duchess had a few friends over to watch the season finale of TV show Line of Duty, according to The Sun.
"It’s quite incredible really," a friend reportedly told the publication, adding: "Harry and Meghan had guests over despite Meghan being a week overdue at that point."

However, as the details are still vague, questions remain as to where the birth took place.
The Daily Mail first reported the Duchess was rushed to a London hospital on Sunday night with Prince Harry and their Scotland Yard security team.

It is believed Meghan was rushed to the American-owned Portland hospital, where ‘basic’ delivery costs are upward of GBP15,000.
Princess Beatrice and Eugenie of York, the daughters of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, were born in the same hospital.
Other high profile celebrities, such as Victoria Beckham and Jamie Oliver, have also welcomed their children at the Portland.

Meghan and Harry's "eleventh hour rush" to hospital was said to be so secretive, even senior members of the Royal Family weren’t told of the movement.
