The Russian royal family has celebrated its first wedding in over a century, with the marriage of Grand Duke George Mikhailovich Romanov and his Italian wife, Victoria Romanovna Bettarini.
The Grand Duke is a descendant of Russia's long-defunct Imperial family, the Romanovs. His great-grandfather was Grand Duke Kirill Vladimirovich, who was a first cousin of Russia's last emperor, Nicholas II.

According to Tatler, the traditional religious ceremony will be followed by a reception at the St Petersburg Ethnographic Museum and a brunch at Konstantinovsky Palace, and catering by 'Putin's Chef', Yevgeny Prigozhin.
Opting for a simple, long-sleeve, satin gown, Victoria chose to decorate her look with accessories, including a glittering diamond Lacis Tiara by the House of Chaumet.

The tiara is reportedly a modern reimagining of the Russian kokoshnik tiara, and the same style worn by Princess Eugenie at her 2018 wedding.
Victoria's tiara is 27.03 carats, featuring two central diamonds of 5.02 and 2.21 carats respectively, as well as 438 pavé diamonds.
