BBC reporter interrupted by daughter during live cross
A woman has been unexpectedly joined by her daughter during a live cross with BBC News, leaving viewers in stitches over what happened next.
Dr Clare Wenham was speaking with presenter Christian Fraser when her daughter Scarlett walked into the room.
Children disrupting their parents while working from home has been one of the best parts of coronavirus lockdown, but what made this one different was the way Dr Wenham stayed so calm.
When she realised her daughter had walked in the room, she said, "Sorry!"

Fraser told her it was alright, adding he knew "how it is to work from home" before asking Dr Wenham if she needed to do anything for Scarlett before continuing with the interview.
It was then Scarlett shared with her mum, Fraser and the BBC News audience that she was trying to find the best place to display her unicorn painting.
Fraser asked Dr Wenham for her daughter's name, before suggesting to the little girl that the "lower shelf" would be a good place for her latest masterpiece.

"Scarlett, I think it looks better on the lower shelf, and it's a lovely unicorn," he said.
Scarlett listened intently before asking her mum who the reporter was.

Viewers were quick to praise Dr Wenham for staying calm and Fraser for his interaction with the girl, with one tweeting that it was "the best interview".
"Good points well made, but her daughter asking who the News Guy was stole the show..."
Another commented on Scarlett's unicorn dress, which may have inspired her painting.
"Massive respect to the scientist on @BBCNews," wrote another.
"Interrupted by her daughter during the interview live stream - she somehow gave loads of information and avoided shouting at her daughter who interrupted by standing on the desk, and asking the BBC reporter questions so funny."
