'I have options': Man proposes to girlfriend with five different rings

A man in the US has proposed to his girlfriend with five different engagement rings, he says, so she'd have choices.

William Hunn got down on bended knee last week to his partner Brittney Miller after a helicopter ride.

"I thought I knew what love was… until you came back into my life," Hunn says in his proposal video posted to his Instagram account.

"Not only did you help me realise that I don't want to live without you, but I can't live without you.

"Will you marry me?"

As he asks for her hand, Hunn offers his future bride an option of five engagement rings.

After wiping away tears, Miller replies "absolutely".

"You can try all five… pick one," Hunn says.

A day after the proposal, Miller posted photos of the couple's happy moment online.

"I said yes. He proposed with not just one… but the five rings I was torn between. I had options," she wrote.

"(William) went above and beyond to make this day one that we'll never forget."

Miller revealed Hunn had planned the proposal for awhile and even carried one of the rings around with him for 30 days.

"I had no idea (William) was following me around for a month with one of the rings he proposed to me with… and it ended up being the one I chose," she said in a post accompanying a video of his antics.

"He took a lot of risks, flashing this behind my back. But he managed to pull it off."

Since Hunn posted the video of his proposal online, the couple have been flooded by well-wishers, many praising Hunn for his thoughtful act.

"Amazing lucky girl and equally lucky guy," one follower on Instagram wrote.

"You know (you've) started something right? Let's see how many men follow and try to out do you," another said.
