It’s been a busy week for Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.

While touring Poland and Germany with her family, the two-year-old has checked off some important royal milestones.

After touching down in Berlin, she received her first bouquet - a miniature version of the one given to the Duchess of Cambridge - and gave her first diplomatic handshake.

Most adorable of all, however, was her first public curtsy.

While farewelling government officials in Warsaw ahead of her flight to Germany, Charlotte performed a neat little bob after appearing to be prompted by Mum.

Staying upright at the age of two can be challenging enough as it is, but the mini princess managed to keep her balance.

If the past few days are any indication, the fourth in line to the throne is going to be one slick royal.

Meanwhile, Prince George is probably pleased his precocious little sister has been pulling the public spotlight her way during the royal tour.

The three-year-old seemed decidedly unimpressed as he arrived at Berlin Airport, rubbing his eyes and generally looking grumpy.

He was similarly pouty at Warsaw Airport on Monday.

Watch: The royals touch down in Poland.

To be fair, the European tour - the second for the Cambridges as a family of four - has been quite the whirlwind. The family will visit Hamburg before returning to the UK.

Hopefully the little prince will pep up in time for his fourth birthday tomorrow.
