Prince Harry branded 'Meghan Markle's hostage' by royal insiders
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's relationship is not foreign to public critique and unwarranted opinion, but now royal insiders have called Harry his wife's "hostage".
In his new book, Our King: Charles III, author Robert Jobson reveals new claims surrounding the cruel rhetoric surrounding the couple from inside the castle.
Jobson alleges that behind the scenes, royal insiders joked Prince Harry was the hostage of wife Meghan Markle after their whirlwind romance.

Jobson alleges that some made claims that the Duke of Sussex was suffering from Stockholm Syndrome – a condition wherein victims develop feelings for their captors.
The book details the narrative woven by aides who felt that Markle was the driving force behind Prince Harry leaving his royal duties and moving to America.
"Some blame Meghan Markle for the fallout, ignoring the fact that Harry seems to be the driving force in everything that happened," Jobson wrote.
"There was a point when officials joked Harry was the victim of Stockholm syndrome, and he was Meghan's hostage, but now most just feel Harry has turned his back on everything he has known."

Other parts of the book revealed in an extract posted by MailOnline suggested the late Queen was mystified by the pair's romance.
Queen Elizabeth II believed that Prince Harry was "so consumed" by his love for Meghan Markle that it "clouded his judgement", Jobson claims in Our King: Charles III.
He also wrote that the late monarch branded the Sussexes "quite mad" after speaking out against the royal family following their royal exit.
"In truth, by the time his grandmother died, Harry had precious few supporters left in the family. Even the Queen, who had always had great affection for him, eventually tired of his outbursts," the book excerpt reads.

"First, she had wearied of the volatile exchanges between Harry and his brother, which sometimes took place in her presence. Then Harry and Meghan had started publicly criticising both the monarchy and members of the Royal Family."
The excerpt also noted that she felt "let down", not only because Harry decided to step down as a senior royal, but also because she viewed the couple's departure as "a missed opportunity".
Despite her disappointment however, the Queen had "great affection" for Harry and shared only well wishes, hoping he'd "find peace and happiness" after moving to the US with Meghan.
