He’s got a reputation for his cheeky behaviour, but Prince George might be in trouble this time after being pictured on his way to Auntie Pippa’s wedding without a seatbelt on.

The three-year-old has been pictured standing in the back of a vintage car as it was driven up the private road running towards the entrance of St. Mark’s Church in Berkshire.

As the car was not on a public road when the photo was taken, the Duke and Duchess have no fear of being in trouble with the law. It also made a very slow approach to its venue as Prince George, Prince Charlotte and the Duchess of Cambridge arrived for the wedding, in which the two young Cambridges were pageboy and flower girl.

Kensington Palace have not commented on the incident.

George may have escaped a telling-off from his mum for being too eager to take a glimpse out of the front window, but he wasn’t so lucky later in the day when he stood on Pippa’s Giles Deacon wedding dress as she and new husband James left the church.

Video emerged of the Duchess of Cambridge abruptly telling him to get away. He was later pictured in tears as she ushered him and the other young pageboys and flower girls to cars ready to take them to reception. He seemed to perk up later as his mother gave him a reassuring pat on the head.

The family then drove off - all firmly sat in their seats, this time - and George gave a wave to the cameras. What a performer!
