Inside Pippa Middleton’s wedding reception
We know that Meghan Markle made an appearance, and we know that the groom's best man made an awkward speech, but up until now we haven’t managed to see any pictures of Pippa Middleton and James Matthews' wedding reception, following their beautiful church ceremony in Berkshire, England.
However, a florist has taken to Instagram to upload a picture of the interior of Pippa’s famous glass marquee - and it looks stunning.
The designer, Djordje Varda, captioned the shots (which have now been deleted), "Let me tell you the story about a special wedding for very special and lovely people…..The Cherry Blossom Fairy Tale #pippamiddleton #bucklebury #pippamiddletonwedding #lovemyjob #passion Many thanks to Rob Van Helden and his team! Thank you guys for your help and hard work!”
The event director also posted a photo of the happy couple, plus another of the village sign in Bucklebury, where they married.
The photos show cherry blossom tree centrepieces and green foliage with pink and white roses. Sources told the Daily Mail that the theme for the evening was “Enchanted Forest”.
It is alleged that the whole wedding cost a reasonable $436,000.
Following the reception, which reportedly went on until 4am, the couple jetted off on honeymoon where they’ll spend some time relaxing on the picturesque Tetiaroa, a small atoll in the islands of French Polynesia.
