Paul Burrell says Princess Diana was involved in a 'secret' car accident
Paul Burrell says Princess Diana was involved in a car crash before the accident that claimed her life in Paris in 1997.
The former royal servant made the revelation during Wednesday’s episode of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, following a ‘psychic reading’ with high-profile medium John Edward.
Burrell, who worked as the late Princess of Wales’ butler, was stunned when Edward alluded to details of her life that supposedly weren’t public knowledge.
“You had a friend who passed in a vehicle accident. Were there two car accidents?” the medium asked.
“Because I’m feeling like there were two accidents, almost like one was foreshadowing and the other one was tragic, yes?” Edward continued.
“You couldn’t possibly know that,” the 59-year-old responded.

Speaking with Real Housewives of Melbourne star Jackie Gillies later in the episode, Burrell claimed the princess’ first crash happened in “the middle of nowhere”.
“She was frightened that night. She crashed her car. She couldn't drive it ... She said, ‘What do I do?’” he recalled.'
“I said, ‘You go and lock yourself in the ladies’ loo in the nearest hotel and I'll come and get you.’

During Burrell’s conversation with Edward, the celebrity medium also described details of Diana’s bedroom and made reference to the royal’s “foul language” and fondness for needlepoint embroidery.
