NYC woman shares weather report with dog in the cutest of TikTok moments
A TikToker has captured the adorable moment an elderly New Yorker shared the weather report with her dog — to show him it wouldn't be raining.
New York City has endured some of the most horrendous floods over the last week after Hurricane Ida ravaged the city with historic rains.

Subways, basement apartments and streets have been soiled and washed away, in a tri-state flooding event that also affected New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
But with skies starting to clear, a TikToker has shared the sweet moment an elderly woman reassured her pooch that the rainy days were coming to an end.

Posted by user, @Emilybernay, Bernay captioned the video "She is literally showing her dog the weather report to show him that it's not raining tomorrow."
The video captures the elderly woman sat on a street bench with her dog, who came more than prepared for the storms. Dressed in a bright yellow raincoat — hood included, the lady's pooch looks more weather-ready than she is.

The video then shows the lady open the weather app on her phone, and lean over to show her sad-looking pup.
Lifting up his hood, she places the screen in front of him, and the pup immediately props himself up, as if totally understanding what his owner has said.
With over 1.8 million views, the video is quickly taking over the platform, and melting TikToker hearts.
"This is the cutest thing I've ever seen," wrote one TikToker.
"The way he understood", wrote another.

A third user commented: "If that is not the most WHOLESOME thing I've ever seen."
Others joked that they hoped to be like the elderly lady someday.
"If this isn't me by 80, I want a refund," one user commented.
"Think I've just seen my future self," another joked.
