Woman's Aldi collectible toy hack praised as 'game changing'
A mother appears to have cracked the code on childhood joy, sharing her hot tip for avoiding double-ups when buying Aldi's cult collectibles range.
Sharing her discovery in the Aldi Mums Facebook group, the woman revealed how she unearthed a way to avoid buyer "disappointment".
Referencing Aldi's current Hot Wheels' "Mystery Cars" toys campaign, the mum shared her secret for telling what car is inside the packet without opening it.

Claiming the tip will mean no money will go wasted and kids will no longer be "disappointed" with a toy "double up", the woman's tip garnered widespread favour from fellow parents and toy-hunters, who labelled her a "genius".
"You legend! My daughter has just turned 2 and loves them… As long as she's been able to speak she says "car, car" when she sees them. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS TIP!" commented one user.

"This is a game changer! We have four that are the same at the moment. Now I won't double up again," shared another.
Other users said the woman's hack has been common knowledge for a long time in the toy-hunting game, recalling times they've used the method to improve their collections.
"Takes me back to the days of collecting Thomas Minis and digging through a box, checking the season and train numbers," shared one person.

Another simply marvelled at the skills the woman's hot tip would require.
"But then you've gotta remember the numbers you've bought in the past," they joked.
