Mother left shocked by sweet note left by stranger in Kmart

A mother has revealed a sweet note her daughter came across while shopping in a Queensland Kmart — taking to social media to thank the stranger behind the act of kindness.

In a post on the Kmart Home Decor & Hacks Australia Facebook group, the mother revealed the contents of the letter found by her 12-year-old daughter in a call out to the person who wrote it.

The picture showed a $20 note that was paired with a piece of paper that read: "If you found this, it's yours.

"Please keep it as a reminder of your abundance! Money is energy and there's an infinite supply available."

In the caption the mother explained that her daughter "is keeping the money safe in a jar and will keep adding to it."

She continued, "Whomever you are who shared your wealth to people, may God bless you and your family. Sharing is caring."

Members of the Facebook group praised the kind gesture with one user writing, "What a beautiful thing to do I'd be so overwhelmed if this happened to me."

Another added, "Great lesson. Always value money for the good it can bring to others."

In an unexpected twist, group members used their detective skills to uncover the good Samaritan behind the note — which was none other than Love Island Australia star Isabelle Green.

Earlier this week, Green had revealed to followers her plans to leave notes in the candle section of Kmart.

In a clip posted to Instagram stories, the reality star wrote "This was sooo much fun."

"I'm on such a high from something so little," she added.

Green starred in season two of Love Island Australia which aired on Channel 9 in 2019.

The reality star recently became a mother after giving birth to her daughter Dakota Sage in December 2021.
