While it's now decades old, the show, starring the likes of Ted Danson, Kelsey Grammer, Woody Harrelson and Kirstie Alley, is still a fan-favourite.
Following the lives of friends who all regularly meet at the Cheers bar in Boston, it even inspired the hit spin-off Frasier and The Torellis.

Kelsey Grammer
Kelsey Grammer portrayed Dr. Frasier Crane on the hit show.
It remains one of his most iconic roles and one that has had him laughing all the way to the bank...
Grammer, 69, is believed to be worth a whopping $US80 million, or $123 million approximately.
His spin-off Frasier ran from 1993 to 2004, while a reboot was made last year.
Not only is he an actor, but he is an executive producer on a number of shows.
He is also said to have raked in a cool $US1.6 million per episode for the last two seasons of Frasier.
He reportedly recently admitted he wasn't much of a fan of Cheers before getting a part in the show.
"I think I might have seen the pilot when I was tending bar at O'Neill's on 57th and 6th Avenue. I remember thinking, 'What a terrible show. I would never want to be on something like that.'"

She is known for films including Matilda, and Barbie, and has appeared on shows including Becker and Ally McBeal.
Kirstie Alley
Kirstie Alley portrayed Rebecca Howe on Cheers.
The role earned her a series of coveted awards including an Emmy and Golden Globe and was her breakout role.
Kristie Alley
Alley died at the age of 71 in December 2022, in Tampa, Florida, after a battle with colon cancer.
She is said to have had a $US40 million ($AU61 million) net worth at the time of her death.
George Wendt
Fun fact; he's the uncle of Hollywood star Jason Sudeikis.
Wendt, 76, is estimated to have a net worth between $US25 million ($38 million) to $US45 million.
He reportedly made a cool $US200,000 per episode for Cheers at one point.
Shelley Long
Shelley Long is pictured in character as Diane Chambers on Cheers.
She starred on the show from 1982 to 1993.
