A 29-year-old Playboy model has ditched the vego-life for a meat-heavy diet in her bid to be crowned Miss BumBum.

Jeni Summers is one of 27 contestants in the running to win Brazil's annual pageant for best booty.

The Florida-born model told The Sun she was eating plenty of steak, ham, chicken and tuna — a minimum of 200g of protein per sitting — in the lead up to the competition.

She said she was also working out five days a week, including intense weight training and boxing classes, as well as two hours of squats every day in order to get her derriere peach perfect.

“To make sure my body has all the protein it needs I underwent a major diet change, going from being vegetarian to eating five meals a day with tons of meat and a minimum of 200g of protein per sitting,” she said.

Summers said when she was asked whether she wanted to participate in the competition, which comes with a cash prize and a year modelling contract, “of course, I said yes, who doesn’t want to make history?”.

Summers, who lives in Mexico City, is one of two contestants not from Brazil.

Formerly a NFL cheerleader, she is now modelling full-time for Playboy Mexico, as well as managing and coordinating its production and events, which she describes as a “dream come true”.

“I don’t feel like it is work, I wake every day loving what I do so much.”
